IRMO Privacy Policy

Hangzhou Hangmo Robotics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "IRMO") is the operator of the IRMO series exoskeleton robots and supporting applications (collectively referred to as the "IRMO Services"). We fully recognize the importance of personal information to you. In compliance with applicable laws and regulations, we adopt stringent security measures to protect your personal information and privacy. This policy clearly sets forth how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information, as well as the rights you are entitled to. Please carefully read and fully understand the entire content of this Policy before you start using our products and services.

I. How We Collect and Use Your Information

To provide, maintain and optimize our products and services, and ensure the security of your account, we collect and use your relevant information in the following scenarios:

  1. Account Registration and Management: To create your personal account, we collect your email address, password, region of use and age. Your email and password are used for account verification and security protection, and we may also send you important service notifications via your email. Region information is used to allocate an appropriate server zone to optimize your access experience. Age information is used to identify whether you are a minor (see Part VI of this Policy for relevant definition).
  2. Product Adaptation and Recommendation: To recommend exoskeleton product models, sizes and key adjustment parameters that best fit your body type, we collect your biological gender, height and weight. You may also voluntarily provide additional personal data to help us deliver more accurate service adaptation. Provision of such optional information is entirely voluntary and will not affect your use of core functions.
  3. Personalized Settings: You may set a nickname and avatar to enrich your personal profile for a better personalized experience and community interaction.
  4. Service Operation and Security Assurance: During your use of the Services, we collect necessary operational data including device model, firmware version, login IP address, software version, product serial number and operation logs. Such information is used to ensure stable service operation, troubleshoot faults, continuously optimize product performance and safeguard your account security.
  5. Location Information: Our application may obtain your approximate geographic location (such as city and country) through your IP address. In addition, to improve the stability of Bluetooth device search and pairing, we may obtain your precise GPS location information with your explicit consent. Such information is only used for the above purposes when the application is running in the foreground, and collection will stop once the application is closed.

  1. Storage Location: To deliver a consistent service experience to global users, we may process your information on servers located outside your country or region. In such cases, we will adopt legally compliant measures (such as signing standard contractual clauses) to ensure adequate protection of your information.
  2. Storage Period: We retain your personal information only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this Policy and within the time limits required by applicable laws and regulations. For example, after you cancel your account, we will delete or anonymize your account information within the statutory period. If any service is discontinued, we will notify you via announcements and dispose of relevant data within a reasonable period.

    III. How We Protect Your Information Security

    We adopt industry-standard security technologies and management measures, including but not limited to encrypted transmission, de-identification processing, and strict internal data access permission control, to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, tampering or damage to your information. We have established a dedicated security management team and emergency response plans. In the event of a security incident, we will take timely remedial measures and fulfill notification obligations in accordance with the law.

    IV. How We Share and Transfer Your Information
